The Vikings are in the clear for their next three home games, as far as local television blackouts are concerned.

Vikings chief marketing officer Steve LaCroix says that there are still some limited tickets available to the next three games which will all be at home.  But the Vikings have concerns that the tickets will sell and they are considering the games as “virtual sellouts.”

A 7-1 record, the presence of Brett Favre, and team featuring some of the most exciting players on the planet can all be attributed to the Vikings recent success in selling tickets.  They have not seen a blackout since 1997, but have been very close a few times over the last two years.
