It was requested in the previous section that I provide you with a list of Vikings free agents.  Ages listed are as of September 1, 2010.  Here is the list for 2010:

-          Tarvaris Jackson, QB, age 27

-          Chester Taylor, RB, Age 30

-          Fahu Tahi, FB, Age 28

-          Ryan Cook, OL, Age 27

-          Artis Hicks, OL, Age 31

-          Ray Edwards, DE, Age 25

-          Fred Evans, DT, Age 26

-          Karl Paymah, CB, Age 27

-          Eric Frampton, S, Age 25 (Restricted)

There are probably a few other players who are free agents that I haven’t listed here, for whom little contract info is available.  Jon Cooper, Greg Lewis, Benny Sapp, and Kenny Onatulo all come to mind.  Also, depending on the Collective Bargaining Agreement outcome, more of these players could become restricted.

The Vikings like to draft players to fill needs one year out (Tyrell Johnson for Darren Sharper, John Sullivan for Matt Birk) so here is a list of 2011 free agent:

UPDATE:  I also have Benny Sapp, Darus Reynaud, Jaymar Johnson, Albert Young, and Jimmy Kennedy as free agents in 2010… though there is so little info available on their contracts that I am not 100% positive of this.
