Links Of The Week
Here is a look around the web:
- Nobody can deny that Childress has brought in much great talent, but do not overlook the acquisition of Ryan Longwell.
- The Vikings are finding much success in the red zone this year.
- Brett Favre is feeling more confident now.
- A former Vikings receiver is in trouble for attacking his daughter.
- Even terrorists are giving Packers fans crap over the whole Brett Favre thing.
- Sundays win was about as easy as it gets.
- The win against the Seahawks almost made uncharted history… here’s how.
- Only minor things appear to be issues after the convincing victory on Sunday.
- The Vikings are pretty consistently listed at the #3 spot on power rankings around the league.
- Brett Favre is on pace to miss an entire game’s worth of snaps this season, just from being pulled early.
- You know you want to ask Chili a question or two. You know you want an autographed picture of him to complete the decoration of your wife’s favorite bathroom. What are you waiting for? Click here.
- I hate when websites do this… anybody see my name on this anywhere? Anybody?
- Who doesn’t enjoy finding out who the cheerleader of the week is?
- Pacifist Vikings takes a look at the upcoming week, including the Bears matchup.
- One thing the Vikes want to work on is the number of negative rushing plays.
- Sidney Rice gave us a scare when he appeared injured after his first touchdown Sunday. All indications are that he’ll be okay.
- Purple Jesus offers his ever-unique and entertaining (unless you don’t like four letter words) take on the Vikings game.
- Game balls have been assigned to Brett Favre, Ray Edwards, and Heath Farwell from last week’s game.
- Somehow, I think I’ve managed to go the last couple of days without even mentioning that the Vikings gave up only four (FOUR!) rushing yards ot the Seahawks.
- Vikings Ship could not even pick a player of the game… he was that impressed with everyone.
- Larry Fitzgerald Sr. calls the stadium issue a race issue… and then Vikes Geek rips him apart for it.
- Some people think Childress should have gotten his extension. Some don’t. It’s not a black and white issue. (Larry Fitzgerald Sr. doesn’t like my wording there).
- 10 points to take away from Sunday’s game.
- Favre is putting together quite the season, and quite the passer rating.
- Wilf never felt that he needed to wait on Chili’s contract extension.
- Ever wanted to know what would possess someone to line up offsides on a punt return? Well, you can ask Brian Robison tonight if you like. He knows the asnwer, I’ll bet.
- It looks like the Vikings bailed on Birk at exactly the right time. He is stuggling with the Ravens.
- In addition to hammy problems and struggling to produce good numbers, Bernard Berrian is dealing with a lawsuit.
- Percy Harvin is putting together quite the highlight reel for his rookie season.
- Have a bad year in fantasy football? Maybe this guy can help.

Adam,
I don’t think we will rank any high than 3 unless the Colts or Saints lose one, Not for nothing I really don’t care, The Vikings are no doubt the most complete team.

I agree, Charlie. Power Rankings, like Mock Drafts, are fun and interesting but mostly worthless. Once playoffs rolls around, it is all about who can put together the longest winning streak.
Both the Colts and Saints are playing surprisingly good defense. It’ll be interesting to see if that continues.
