Just a thought...I realize that Karl Paymah is often times quite the sinking spectacle but he's trying and his job is tough. He's managed to stay in the game and for that I applaud him. Paymah is just not as agile or as aggressive as a great corner should be. He's tried to go out and rep for the Vikes as best he can. I'm sure he wants to make the Vikings Nation proud and have their respect in return. Football is cut throat. I'm not saying that because he puts fourth effort he should play. Only that he wants to make it just as much as the next guy and its not any easier when people are on your butt. Myself included, I've had my fair share of Paymah doubts and zealous critiques. As, I would much rather see Allen play. However, Paymah is still a Viking and at the end of the day the Vikes are a team.

The added attention on Double A is much appreciated Warwas! Thanks again to all those that have faith in the kid and his abilities! A B- is not a bad grade so to speak. It was merely that in the article you hinted that Allen didn't have the potential to rise above the initial grade. Which is what originally struck me as cause for concern and a geniune crusade to make you think other wise. I can see that my efforts have been rewarded. I'd like to think that most everyone is just a play or perhaps word away from seeing how valuable the kid is. I really do like the Vikes and think that Allen is fortunate to play for a team with such a loyal and intelligent fan base. SKOL VIKES!

Yup. Sit Paymah. Keep Asher Allen in for his bigtime hitting.

Note: I would have cut Paymah outright after Raven game but he has rebounded

It's a normal thing around here... typos that is. I'm the worst of them all, I think I actually used the word "proved" wrong in a comment up above... and Johnny didn't even call me on it :)

Of course I love it when Asher does something well, after all I am a Vikings fan.

Even I, perhaps the most umapproving person of the Brett Favre acquisition is capable of cheering for Favre on Sundays. And I don't have a decades-worth of hatred towards Asher Allen. Just slightly questioned him as our 3rd rounder. That's all.

Do not mistake my analysis of the draft choice as hoping he does poorly (although, I still don't get how a B- is so bad).

And no wearing down needed, G.P. I cheer for the kid, and thanks to you keep a special eye on him. He needs to improve his tackling, but other than that he has impressed me thus far... hence the article written above.

bigjohnny84 You're so on point it scares me! I'm glad you recognize that your You're so right and so on point it scares me bigjohnny84! Double A is special. I think we might just be wearing Warwas down! Can't knock Warwas though after all it was his post that began The Great Asher A Debate of 2009. Yes I've taken it upon myself to formally name our conversation. Thanks for the compliment. I share similar sentiments towards you. All conversation is good conversation . As long as people are talking especially people with an eye for talent ... Asher A is doing okay. Anyone can jump on an obvious bandwagon but to spot a good thing and watch it grow into a great thing takes skill and dedication. Double A is a good thing! Warwas my friend you are good at playing the role of Devil's Advocate. I know deep down inside you love it when Asher Allen puts the stomp on someone!
