Wednesday Injury Update
Antoine Winfield sounds like he’ll be ready to play this Sunday as the Vikings take on the Bears at the Metrodome.
He said, “Me being a competitor, I want to get out there and play. It’s been a long time since I’ve been out there, made some plays, hit some people. Definitely excited about that.”
The other players that were limited in practice on Wednesday were Adrian Peterson (ankle), Bernard Berrian (hamstring), and Naufahu Tahi (ankle).
E.J. Henderson (knee) and Benny Sapp (groin) are listed on the injury report, but were not limited.
Anthony Herrera sat out of practice, as he had suffered a concussion.

Charlie I’m pretty sure Hicks would get the nod. But you never know Chili could try Cook out there too.

The concussion happened during the ‘Hawks game.
Hicks would almost certainly get the nod over Cook.

Thanks Adam. For some reason I thought maybe Chili would try out Cook at guard to see if he’s worth keeping. We already know Hicks is a darn good player.

I’d agree with you if it were preseason. Now is not the time to be trying out players, but rather the time to make sure that our best 45 are on the field and in the right position to help this team win.
Cook’s days are numbered.

Adam do you think Cook is gone no matter what?
