Many people are now crowning the Bears as dunces for their trade to acquire Jay Cutler. The deal keeps getting even better for the Broncos, as the worse the Bears do, the better the 2010 draft pick the Broncos acquired from them in the trade becomes. That pick (in addition to all the others they got last year) could turn into a top ten pick by the end of the season.
However, instead of kicking the Bears why they’re down (like the picture? Thanks to the Daily Norsemen for pointing it out) I want to point out a Vikings trade can now be pretty much crowned as a success.
Jared Allen has 27 sacks in 27 games since joining the Vikings. The draft choices that the Chiefs got in the trade have amounted to very little.
Mission accomplished.
[Note: The Bears also traded away their second rounder this year to the Bucs to obtain Gaines Adams.]

Freds thinks when all is said and done, the Bear will be glad they made the trade. Cutler will be fine. Dude needs to just get off the alcohol, take a few more Motrin before game time, he’ll be fine.
Chicargo is a bad bad team and will be for the next 3 years at least. They are worse than Fred thought they were.
Regarding the Pats, they have no defense. When they win, they get up quick and when they don’t they struggle. Pats are also on their way down. They have no running game and their defense is a joke.
AKs, did you see Tebow this weekend? He looked good! He moved up to the second round on Fred’s big board. I hope he likes Buffalo, that’s where he’ll end up in the second round.
Viking Johns, did you beat Fred this week in Fantasy Football? Don’t worry, Fred is resting his players for the playoffs.
Freds, Peter King said the other day that he knows of two coaches who will be drafting in the first round that promised him that Tebow would not fall below them in the first round. My guess? Josh McDaniels and Jack Del Rio.
Tebow won’t be a very good nfl qb. To big of windup when passing, poor mechanics, doesn’t set his feet right. He might be a good fullback or te.
I gotta disagree. He’ll have an impact at QB… I promise.
Adam now you got wtf and Freds against your prediction on Tebow. But with all due respect to Freds and wtf I’ll still join Adam and say Tebow goes in the first. Freds we will not forget about the steak and 45′s.
