On Sunday, starting linebacker and defensive captain E.J. Henderson suffered a gruesome fracture to his femur.
Brad Childress told the media on Monday that Henderson spent the night in a Phoenix hospital’s intensive care unit after having “successful” surgery to his leg. Henderson is expected to return to Minnesota some time this week.
“He’s a spartan so wish him the best in his rehab and his care,” Childress said.
As I stated in the previous post, E.J. is my favorite defender on this team, and for what it’s worth, here is hoping he sees a speedy recovery.
