Links Of The Week

Well, this week has been pretty darn exciting for us folks here at Vikings Gab.  The Vikings have clinched a playoff spot AND we’ve had three posts get at least a hundred comments.  Wow.

So it is that time in the week when I send you to sites run by our friends around the Internet.  Go out there, give them some love, help them get a hundred comments too, tell them Vikings Gab sent ya, and then come back here and chat up a storm.  You, the readers, are much appreciated around here.

Here we go:

  • This is by far my favorite Vikings Ship music video to date.  Check it out!
  • A gift from the Niners starts the “should the Vikings rest their starters” debate.
  • Vikings are weak because they have a weak schedule?  That’s weak.
  • The Vikings have not moved for seven weeks in ESPN’s power rankings.
  • It is time to see more of Darius Reynaud and Chester Taylor.
  • Some Vikings Players are starting to see their stock rise.
  • Here is a pretty good reason to root for the Steelers, Cowboys, and Giants this weekend.
  • Do you want to see the State of Minnesota help fund a new football stadium?  Then click here or here.
  • Some people are not convinced that Adrian Peterson “bounced back” on Sunday.
  • Breaking Down Favre’s updated numbers and evaluating whether or not he is “on a slide.”
  • This breaks down in great detail the impact Antoine Winfield had against the Bengals.
  • The Vikings defense could be set for another big outing.  The Panthers starting OTs could be out.
  • The will also be facing a backup quarterback.
  • You could spend your entire day watching these cool videos.
  • The play of the WilliamsWall on Sunday should not go unmentioned.
  • The StarCaps issue has gotten kind of redundant, but here is an update.
  • Purple Jesus seems to really, really, really enjoy Sid Hartman.  Don’t you think?
  • Skol Vikes hands out their weekly game balls… one of which went to a player who won’t be with the team for four weeks and whose name rhymes with E.J. Henderson.
  • That whole StarCaps thing won’t be going away any time soon.
  • A lot of positive things being said over at Vikings Age… which is rare.
  • Some good points about the Vikings victory over the Bengals.
  • An explanation as to why one of our linebackers has such a funky name.
  • Peterson, Berrian, and Evans did a great deed this week, kudos to them.  Although, I hope they drove slowly on their way there.
  • Need a good book?
  • A writer that I recently ripped on thinks Antoine Winfield is the Vikings MVP.  But don’t worry, once he sees “Blind Side” again, then he’ll think Michael Oher should be the Vikings MVP.
  • Seriously, this is worthy of being on Minnesota’s “#1″ newspaper’s website?
  • Will memories of Arizona motivate this Vikings team?
  • Percy Harvin’s migraines are a very big issue at Winter Park.
  • Brian Robison’s weekly chats with fans are always interesting.
  • And just for some fun, let us look back to the day when Adam found out Brett Favre was becoming a Viking.  I may have over-reacted a tad:
