It wouldn't surprise me in the least if that were true. The guy is SO unlikable! Now that he has his extension, he hasn't a care in the world and as krugjr said, maybe he is throwing his weight around and the players don't like it. I am so pissed off at Wilf for doing this. Against ALL advice, he extends this moron's contract BEFORE he has done ANYTHING to warrant it. And don't give me that "We've improved every year" crap. Anyone with a lick of sense could have this team where Childo "Has" it. I'm not even sure where I'm going with this post. . . Add in our OL woes and our lack of defense and all of a sudden, it just doesn't look very promising for this year. Man it sucks to be a Viking fan. The defense, however, left absolutely NOTHING to be optimistic about. The corners got beat badly over and over again. The safeties, as someone mentioned above, were atrocious and provided no contribution. The defensive lines' only shining moment was a Brian Robison sack. Allen/ Williams/ Edwards have been non-existent for a few weeks now. The overall coverage scheme was so terribly flawed....rush 4, and have WIDE open receivers all night.
