I don’t make alot of predictions. I predicted the first 6 wins this season, the Pittsburgh game and the Arizona meltdown. All in all I claim no extraordinary prognostication skills. In fact, I am actually surprising myself this year as I am usually very unimpressive in this realm.
But I am going to stick my neck out this weekend and make a few predictions that have no more chance of being right then the opinions of anyone else. But I’m going to state my case strongly and with great conviction as if I really feel they cannot miss ( Just to make it more dramatic and to conjure up feedback from our readers here at V.G. ).
First of all, the Vikings WILL beat the Giants on Sunday. This may seemlike a bold statement when one conciders the scathing article I wrote this week about the teams lack of effort. But I think the team comes out strong, and takes care of business against a Giants team with nothing to gain. New York will be loose, and that is sometimes dangerous, but the Vikings will prevail by controlling both lines of scrimmage and allowing Favre and Co. to make just enough big plays.
Vikings – 17 Giants – 13.
Prediction # 2 –
Cowboys – 31 Eagles – 27
Minnesota re-gains the second seed and all is right in Vikingland.. The team gets a bye, and a home game in round two.
There you go. These are my week 16 predictions. I am certain they will both come true………mostly because they have to if the Vikings are going to go deep into the play-offs this year. If either falls short, then it will be another short and disappointing play-off run.

Adam, I pray that you are right. The Giants do seem to be a mess. I clicked on Giants gab and oh boy I thought we were a little down. They were even talking about losing on purpose to get a higher draft pick. So if we cant beat them with ease we are in big trouble.
I didn’t write these. The “I don’t make a lot of predictions” should have tipped that off
Sorry again Adam, but you do make predictions, aka the crow you’ve had to eat.
I think this game will go along ways to getting a good look at this team’s psyche. We could see a Viking team who continues to struggle, maybe play a little better and good enough to squeak out a win, or drop a close loss. OR, we could see a team that sends the message that “we’ve had enough of this excrement!” and play like they did in mid-season. If we see the first team, the playoffs will be a formality of one and done. If we see the second team, we could be ready to do some real damage.
I simply cannot predict which team we will see. It will be a very interesting last game of the season.
I think we assume that you write all these post’s Adam.
Apologies to Chris.
I agree Coach. At this point I’m not sure what we’re gonna see on sunday.
On offense I’d like to see that team I saw in the 2nd half monday night. I say we do.
Yes, we will dominate.

Hey CC glad to see ya. If we dont dominate, the stuff will hit the fan, dont you think?
Hey bigj!
You mean the excrement will hit the wall.
I meant!! The excrement will hit the fan.
CC I see you’ve been gone for a while. We’ve missed ya buddy. And yes the shit will hit the fan.
Interesting score you chose there c.c. Any particular basis? (wink, wink) Yeah, I could see us shooting blackbirds with a shotgun, too, but I thought we would see that last week, so now I’m not so sure. But being at home on our surface should be reason for optimism.
Coach, the Giants will not lay down and die for us. So cant take them for granted
Thanks johnny, been workin alot. Still not making any money tho, what a life.
Anyone else besides Chris think we get the bye. I think it could happen. But it seems every time I want those damn Cowboys to win (it hurts to even say that), they dont.
Well CC its still great to see ya. I think the cowgirls win that game. I just pray we win our game.
sure, i hope we get the bye, but more than that, i think we need to see that our guys had kind of a catharsis, a purging of losing, that they just got sick and tired of playin’ like shit. sounds like AP felt pretty bad for a couple of days about that fumble, so maybe that’s a sign he went through this
i really don’t care if we win three or four games after sunday to get that title. i just wanna see ‘em come out and play like champions
Hey all,
I really hope these predictions are right. Like someone already said, it’s hard to tell which team we are going to see this weekend. I would love to see the one we all got so used to and hung our coat with earlier this season.
I’m worried the Cowboys will lose. The Eagles look especially scary and I really hope we don’t have to play them in the post-season.
Also, I am in Minnesota right now (all the way from Las Vegas) visiting family and I would LOVE to somehow go to the game. Are there any locals here that now how to score a cheap ticket? I’d be very grateful. I don’t get to come here that often so now’s the chance!
Thanks and SKOL!
Hey Brett,
27-13 Vikings!!! Hey, As long as they win, CC is right, Every time I root for the Stinkin Cowboys they lose!!!
Hope ya find a ticket…
