Brett Favre has taken our passing offense from mediocrity to the top ten in all major stat categories.
He has been, simply put, exceeding expectations all season long.
Here goes the rundown. Favre is 9th in the NFL with 4,202 passing yards, 3rd with a 68.4% completion percentage, 8th with an average of 7.9 yards per pass, and 2nd with 33 touchdowns. He also threw for only 7 touchdowns and had the best quarterback rating of his career (2nd in the NFL) with a whopping 107.2.
When a walking hall-of-famer puts up the best season of a very illustrious career… you know who your team’s MVP is going to be.
The Favre signing still isn’t without critics, as the playoff run will be what is ultimately remembered, but it is more than fair to say that Favre has elevated this team to the “elite” category, helped generate revenue for a franchise that has struggled with that, and possibly given new hope to a stadium effort that seemed all but dead before the season.

Way to go Adam, didnt know if you had it in ya. Crow doesnt taste so bad.
Gulp
I hate the Pukers, but always respected what Brett did ON the field. It’s been great fun watching him in Purple this year–and my respect for him has increased. Keep it going, #4!
Brett got snubbed this year for MVP…..Favre’s numbers could have been better too, but he was pulled from 8 games to save him from wear and tear….ah well, Brett could have cared less…he wants that Ring…and I don’t blame him a bit for keeping his eye on the prize.
Agree 100% Adam,
It was great to hear the Packers fans cry and whine, but the best part was seeing Brett help our team to where it is at this point, they would never have made it this far with Sage and Tarvaris at the helm. Really have gotten to like this guy…
I’m am completely on board with Favre. The guy has been nothing sort of phenominal this year and we wouldn’t be any where near as good without him. I can only hope that we’ll get the added advantage of him sticking around one more year to hopefully tutor our QB drafted this coming draft.
That vido you posted Adam was great! The best part for me was when Favre hit Harvin in the middle and 3 Packers fell like bowling balls.
Packers stink so bad they fall like bowling balls… which is for sure a harder fall than bowling pins!
Favre should have won the MVP. This was his best year ever, and at 40 no less. They just gave the MVP to Manning for show.
