Frazier Interviews With The Seahawks

I haven’t touched on this much because it is simply just kind of a sad truth about the NFL.

It sounds like the Seahawks have found a new coach in USC’s Pete Carroll and that a deal is all but official.

However, by way of the Rooney Rule, the Seahawks must interview a minority candidate before hiring someone to fill the vacancy.  The presence of the rule combined with the notion that Carroll is already their guy has led many to believe Frazier’s interview is nothing but a sham to fulfill the obligations of the rule.

It seems that Frazier recognized this possibility as it was reported that he originally declined the interview request.  However, something along the way made him change his mind.

My guess is that Frazier is not going to get the job in Seattle, but that he is still a serious candidate in Buffalo.

Frazier will not be allowed to interview for any other teams until after the Vikings finish the post-season.

Freds hope Leslie gets the job. Seems like a good guy.

Agree Freds. Too bad there are so many proven headcoaches out there.

So far the Eagles look like frauds. Run for your life Don….RUN!!!

BEagles are stinkin it up but who cares. I dislike both teams equally. The Boys get their one playoff win, but no more. It all ends in the Metrodome.

You are correct Freds old pal Johnny. Enjoy your moment of glory cowboys, it all ends this weekend. Bring on Tony!!!!

Yes I have to agree with my old pal Freds. I hope we put Freds on 1000 Miles from Austin next week.
