Vikings Show Media That Actions Are More Powerful Then Mere Words

I hate to say “We told you so… No, Wait… I am delighted to say “We told you so!”

After listening to all those “media experts” making brash predictions about a “magical turned mythical” Cowboy victory, along with having to endure those ridiculous trash talking Cowboy fans (you know who you are) with their usual “realistic” comments about how unbeatable their superior Dallas team was. You can well imagine my feelings of elation following the results of Sunday’s dismantling of America’s team.

I have to say, that even though the media went on an all out campaign to make the Vikings look like creampuffs… it was just a mere bump in the road on the way to the Super Bowl.

However, the frenzy just didn’t make sense to Coach B, nor to most of the readers on Viking Gab or fans across America for that matter.

As discussed on Vikings Gab earlier last week, a national poll across America showed that the Vikings were the overwhelming choice of football fans across the nation. The media didn’t mention it, but Coach was on record predicting the Vikings by 11 (sorry, I felt they would win solid, but not by 31 points! Call me conservative). Also, many of our rabid fans on VG were close to spot on with their picks, showing not only their uncanny powers of prognostication, but their strong knowledge of the game itself.

Kudos to everyone who stuck their necks out on the record along side Coach Boynton. You all moved way up on Coaches credibility scale! (Remember, it’s not trash talk if it’s true)

So, to all the Cowboy fans and media experts who not only bought into the hype, but actually added to it by mocking and demeaning us, and our team…

                            .
“We told you so!”

SHHHHHHH! If you are quiet, you can hear them whimpering.  “You ran up the score !”

“Oh, we’re really mad now ! You just wait til next year!”

“Awwww ! Poor things…  I guess that’s all they can say when you’re team gets it’s butt kicked like a grasshopper fighting an angry Grizzly bear.

Nice one CB! Absolutely right on! The sense of the game pours out of the writers and readers of this site!

Nice to enjoy a season like no other!

  2. Coach Boynton says:

Thanks CSlinde, It is fast becoming a magical season. Viking fans are finally getting a chance to vent a bit after many years of frustration. Let’s hope the year doesn’t end the way it has in the past. I know you can say the same for Saints fans, but maybe, this time…..it’s our turn !
