Favre Watch Already

It has already started.

Actually, it started last night, but I am so dreading writing about this topic that I waited a day.

In Favre’s post-game interview, he told reporters that he had already made up his mind as to retirement.

Then, Ed Werder reported that Favre told him it was “highly unlikely” that he’ll play again.  Jay Glazer also said that many Vikings players expect Favre to retire.

As anyone who has followed the NFL in the last five years knows, however, nothing will be set in stone until that first play is called in September.

Favre has always leaned towards retirement immediately following heart breaking losses over the last three years, and there is no reason that this one should be any different.

When August rolls around, though, and Brett starts playing ball with the local high school kids, his mind has a tendency to change.

The events over the next few months could prove to be quite interesting.

I keep looking at the replay of Favre’s pick & keep asking myself why didnt he throw it to #83(I think thats his #).

The ball was at the 38yd line, Favre faked to the centre of the field, that withdrew the LB’s who were covering #83. #83 continued on the sideline, he was wide open, at least for another 5 yds or more, making it at least a 50-52 yd.

Favre needs a psychologist to help him through why he does this over & over.

If Colts spread is -3.5, bet the farm!!!!
