I was so disheartened when I saw my favorite current Vikings, E.J. Henderson, go down with a gruesome leg injury against the Cardinals that I was speechless at the time.
Like many Viking fans, I am hopeful that Henderson will recover fully and quickly. That is why I will endeavor to keep you all as updated as possible on his progress over the offseason.
Today, I bring a bit of “good news” from Scout.com. According to the report, Henderson has been cleared to start putting his own weight on the surgically repaired leg. He is still on crutches, but as he gradually is able to put more and more weight on the leg, his full rehab and therapy should begin soon.
Hopefully, this is just the first of many “good news” updates in regards to E.J.’s recovery.

Adam,
I hope so too, Hope he has a fast recovery for this type of injury, Would love to see him back on the field this year. That would be something for us to smile about…
From the initial reports I had heard, the break was a good clean one. This will greatly aid in his healing and recovery. He will be back for the Vikings by training camp. Count on it my friends. It’s good to hear, that it’s healing well and he’s able to put some weight on it. He’s an inspiration to the team and they need his skills and leadership.
GO VIKINGS!!! Next Year!!
