Not For A Lack Of Trying

nfl_bfboard2_300

If Brett Favre retires once and for all this offseason, it won’t be because nobody wanted him to come back.

The billboard in the picture above was 100% paid for by fans who united via a Facebook group, which spawned this website, which spawned a virtual donation bucket which paid for this billboard.

The billboard is supposedly placed in such a location in Hattiesburg, Mississippi that Favre will have to drive by it every day that he drops off his daughter to school.

The website claims that they need $650 a week to keep the billboard in its place.  That shouldn’t be too tough, since they have nearly 100,000 Facebook followers.
