freds, ok, ok, thanks for pulling me back in line....for me to go from Pastor Krug to soft porn only shows I haven't recovered from the loss yet.........we all have had the "wild ride" for part of our lives, granted, but my guess is we all kept it private.....BMac sticks it right out there in public for the whole world to see, and he seems to enjoy that part of it, and that's what worries me the most about his future in Purple (the boat party, the you tube videos, miami, etc)...pay someone that kind of money and I expect a little more "dedication" to the trade.....I see a little too much of the "me first" in him, and I'd prefer a team guy, and something tells me the Wilfs have told Spielman to find one!

McKinnie embarrassed himself and the League. He performed poorly against Peppers but otherwise his play was solid. When Hutch is healthy they are able to move the line.

McKinnie's behavior could be an indicator of future trouble. He has two strikes with the League and Vike need some type of insurance.

Loadholt played well but is still raw. Plays a little soft and agree checks out mentally from time to time.

Conclusion: Vike will select OL help but in the form of a guard. Iaputi (sp?) was one of most talked about players at Seniors workout. A guard plays now. A tackle won't start. If Iaputi falls to #30 he would solidify interior of line for AD.

Freds, I assume you are talking about Ducasse? He's a big dude (about 340 lbs.) that seems durable and somewhat versatile, as he has played right tackle.

His best traits are simply his superb physical abilities (really long arms) and general bulk and strength.

He struggles with fundamentals like footwork and reading blitzes, but that can be coached.

Overall, I think he could be great but would need a few years as a project. The Vikings might fall in love with him because they love to misplace giant linemen into their zone blocking scheme, and may be willing to snag him in the second...

I personally wouldn't consider him until the third (if he's still there) because of the great steals that will be available at the CB position late in the second round.

Krugs,

Did you say "mount groupies?", how did we get to this place? Poor pass protection, can't run block, bad corn rows, metal pole across bouncers head, pro bowl reject....but mounting groupies? Must have been that picture of Lil Kimberly. It's going to be a long long off season if Freds guy Krugs is playing the mounting groupies card this early in the off season.

Brian will be starting next year, he's a kook, not a good guy, and generally a richard, but he's better than most. Imagine Banjo running for his life with a rookie left tackle?

If we can get something for him of great value, then send him and his rap a packin'. If not, keep him.

Krugs...clean it up dude, Freds is beginning to worry about you! Mounting groupies...sheesh.

AK - What do you know about this communist guard from UMASS?

All of Mister MacKinnley's troubles are a direct result of his involvement with Mister Random Thoughts Guy. What a terrible blogger and horrible person.

Johnny, He makes it hard to want him starting next year, He just seems to have no common sense at all, I wish someone would fall to our laps in the first 2 rounds that would be a starting caliber tackle...

Matt, You have good points, But hopefully they address the Offensive line with a couple draft picks or possibly F.A.

Dont forget there is some serious downside to keeping the big dope. If anything happens, no matter how small, this offseason Roger Goodell will throw the book at him. Bmac just doesnt seem to have the desire to be great or the brains either.
