If you click the tab titled “2010 Mock Draft” at the top of the page you will see my mock draft which has been updated yet again.
I have discovered that my mock is listed on quite a few “Mock Draft Databases” around the internet and that when I update it gets listed at the top of these databases and we generate about 1,500 more hits the following day than on a day when I don’t update.
Since the ultimate goal of a website is to generate traffic, peak the interest of advertisers, and perhaps make enough pennies to keep the thing running I will probably be updating it on a far more regular basis between now and Draft Day. So keep clicking that tab, as I probably won’t announce it every single time that I update it.
In a somewhat related matter, Mike Florio at PFT has posted his first mock draft. He claims that many league sources and scouts were used to create it, but I can’t keep myself from laughing every time I see it. It is quite possibly the worst mock draft I’ve ever seen. I like Florio a lot more than some of you guys, but it is a wretched mock draft, I’m telling you. The fact that he has the Vikings spending their first pick on USC receiver Damian Williams should tell you exactly what I mean by wretched. If that isn’t enough, then consider that he has the Niners passing on Jimmy Clausen… TWICE!

Wow, that PFT mock is something else. I haven’t seen one that bad in a long time. Mel Kipers and Todd Mcshay have better ones and that is saying something.
To Florio’s credit, I have considered first round WR (in my mind, not on record) for the simple fact that they’ll keep trying to lure Favre back.
But lack of playmakers shouldn’t be an issue for Favre, and after the New Orleans game he should be beggin’ the Vikings brass to find better pass protectors instead of pass catchers.
Adam I also noticed #44 and #46 are the same pick.
No they’re not, on one of them I spelled the guy’s name wrong… haha. Thanks for the catch.
Somehow I don’t think I’ll be able to get someone to believe me if I tell them that Corey Wooten and Corey Wootten are two different guys that play DE at Northwestern.
