Young is a Harvin wanna be……we need a bruiser to pound it up the middle…..best CB or lineman in rd 1 & 2…then hope Gerhart or Dwyer drops to us in rd 3…….like I said before, I love picking at # 30…….29 teams will make our first pick for us!!!!!

Doubt Childress would ever consider a QB with such flawed mechanics.

Hard to read if Josh McDaniels really believes in Brady Quinn. Cost was so insignificant – picks and salary – to make deal inconsequential. Quinn’s resume and experience may be worth something although he is projecting as a long-term backup.

McDaniels could be seeing something others – including Holmgren – just don’t calculate. But trade is far from a vote of confidence in Quinn

I hope if they do draft a QB, it will be Pike. It’s so hard to tell where he will go, but I wouldn’t even take him until round 3 at the earliest.

PC, I think you are on to something…

I am with you because:

1) Uncapped year, would be a great time to pick up a QB in the first round, even early, then sign them to a front heavy contract
2) Look at the way they are dangling Edwards out there, ammunition for the draft
3)There were, in fact, no rumors of the Vikings trying for Brady Quinn.
