Mock Updates All Around
Posted by Adam Warwas on March 15th, 2010 in 2009 NFL Draft, 2010 Offseason, Features, Main, Opinions
The tabs at the top of this screen just keep on growing.
In addition to my recently updated mock draft, I have created a tab for the mock draft decided by you guys during Saturday’s live event.
Both will be updated when updates are available.
And before you all start telling me that “the Vikings don’t need an outside linebacker” I’ll explain my thinking. In my mock, Weatherspoon is the best player available. With Ben Leber entering a contract year (and at age 31) this would fill a long term need, as well.

Your Vikes pick isn’t that weird really.
Pick # 2? That one is…..

I agree that #2 is not something that will be a widely specualted pick at #2. But with Vanden Bosch and Williams being brought to Detroit, and having Stafford last year… I think the Lions finally need to get that franchise left tackle.
The more and more I watch of these tackles, the more I think Bulaga is on top of the class. He is pro-ready due to incredible technique.

Adam, wow you shook things up a little in your mock. As you know I’m with ya about Bulaga. In the Orange Bowl he totally dominated that Morgan from GT. Thats what really sold me.

I hear what you’re saying, but they had best trade down if this is the route they want to go. Unfortunatley finding a willing partner to trade down with is very difficult.
Vanden Bosch is no spring chicken and Willams still has alot to prove aside from the fact that he has a pro bowl mouth.
Don’t get Fred wrong, dude is a good tackle, but they could sure get him a few picks later.
The Vikes have shown the value of a killer D line. The Lions could use one. I thik Stafford would side with you Fred suspects!!

But will Vike pass on Jimmy Clausen, QB when he’s still on the board at # 30?
