Bengals Thought To Be After Tahi Again

Last year the Bengals signed fullback Naufahu Tahi to an offer sheet, but the Vikings matched the offer and retained their starter.

Try… and try again.

According to this item from the Pioneer Press, the Bengals still regret the day they lost Tahi and are looking to sign him to an offer sheet yet again.

I would be surprised to see the Vikings let him go without putting up a fight given the lack of fullback options available to them.

The Vikings tendered Tahi at the lowest possible level, meaning they would receive no compensation if they should lose out.

Let the Bengals have him. He’s not a good blocker, runner or receiver enough said.

    Picky, picky, picky…

What about Shawne Andrews released by the Eagle?

What was Childress’ relationship with Andrews? Andrews has driven Eagle coaching staff to distraction but he’s a Right Guard with talent

trade Dugan for Peyton Manning straight up

the Colts would jump all over that deal, and by “jump all over” I mean avoid like a pile of dog crap

  11. Ole says:

“Dugan” could become a new euphemism

“Something stinks. I must have stepped in some Dugan”

  13. Ole says:

“That Todd Flaxton guy is such a Dugan”

  14. Lost Viking says:

Ole, there’s a lot of strange ideas floating around out there as to why LDT & Houshmandzadeh didn’t sign with the Viking.

Starts with theory that Spielman is handing out autographed Brett Favre jerseys and the DVD of Fargo in his recruitment ‘gift bag’. Shouldn’t you be posting a Top Ten list to straighten this out?

  15. Mr. Hand says:

Hey Ole- what is your opinion of Viking J. You know, the man who once starred on Access Vikings?

  16. CSlinde says:

Adam- I know you have a lot goin on, but I wanted to bounce off of you what chance you think the Vikes take Tebow if he’s available and we stay at the same position. I think the LT situation (sayin Favre didn’t confirm if he’s coming back) may have swayed him from signing w/us. You?
