Posted in As of this posting, I have the Vikings selecting Missouri linebacker Sean Weatherspoon in the first round of the NFL Draft.
One thing I now know is that the Vikings had enough interest in this kid to interview him at the Scouting Combine.
And how do I know that they interviewed him? Well, because Weatherspoon can’t stop laughing about something Coach Childress did.
I don’t have any odd hobbies but as for hidden talents, I like to think I could make it on American Idol or something. I sing a little bit. Actually, the Vikings asked me to sing at the end of my interview! It was so funny! That was probably the craziest thing that happened to me in Indy. I couldn’t believe Coach Childress asked me to sing! So I just had to pick a song and go with it, so I picked Ruben Studdard’s “Fly without wings” that he won American Idol with. I did pretty good with it so I could tell they were pretty impressed. It was pretty cool!
One has to wonder if Childress also asked him if he’d rather be lion or water buffalo, if he was good at skipping rocks, and if he minded being “touched and tasted.”
There is no word of the Vikings bringing Weatherspoon to Winter Park for a pre-draft visit… or, maybe in this case, audition?

Fred understand from a confidential, double secret source at the combine that Chilly also asked Clausen the following question:
” Who would you rather have sucker punch you in the eye while enjoying a meal in a resturant, Rocky Balboa or Apollo Creed?”, he also asked a follow up question, “Who do you think snores louder when they sleep, Charlie Weiss or Rosie O’Donnell?”
Fred doesn’t understand the logic of those questions, but there you are…..
Freds, I think Childo is getting worse. He may need some professional help.
This is times that you would like to wear a bag over your head, Not because of the team.
But because of the Coach!!!
