Another Visit Added To The List

We have now been able to identify nine of roughly thirty prospects that will visit with the Vikings prior to the April’s NFL Draft.

Today, the list has been updated to include South Florida cornerback Jerome Murphy who managed to impress a few teams despite a mediocre showing at the Combine where he ran a 4.50 forty.  There is also rumors floating around that some teams did not like the way he interviewed.

“My mentality about the game is that anybody that lines up in front of me to never let them get the best of you,” Murphy said. “I’m looking at it like that guy is trying to embarrass me. I hate to look bad.”

At six feet tall, Murphy possesses the abilities to see him draft in the second or third round.  This year, however, is full of depth at cornerback and it is possible that he gets lost in the mix and slides into the fourth or even fifth round where he would be a great value.
