Links Of The Week: Mullet Edition

This week’s look around the web:

  • Not everyone was willing to poke fun at Jared Allen’s new haircut like I was.  Probably a smart move.
  • The race issue following Toby Gerhart is sure not to go away, especially if he keeps getting upset and talking about it.
  • An interesting question that will test your purple faith.
  • Vikings sites talking about fantasy football players that don’t play for the Vikings.  Two words:  Slow Time.
  • A look at the greatest mullets of all time.
  • How big of a problem are Adrian Peterson’s fumbles?
  • Darren Sharper is already trash talking on behalf of a team that was barely willing to take him back.  Good luck with that, Sharp.
  • Tarvaris Jackson draws some praise for how he has handled the whole Brett Favre “thing.”
  • Will Jared Allen even be recognizable without his mullet now?
  • An in depth study shows that the Vikings broke a lot of tackles, need to tackle better, and are awful glad Adrian Peterson and Percy Harvin are on their team.  Surprised anyone?
  • Jared Allen says the “moolay” is a lifestyle, and that the mullet will be back.
  • The Vikings are building a club inside the Metrodome.  If you have a spare $2,500 laying around, you too can club it up at the Dome.
  • I sure hope that Sampson has nothing to do with Jared Allen… but it would be cool to see Allen play Sampson in a movie.
  • PJD is out of the office this week but has some friends lined up to guest post.  My favorite so far is that he managed to find the a Fred Smoot fan to ponder the past.
  • Pat Williams is still likely to retire prior to being suspended.
  • And, of course, we remember a fallen friend:
