Suh Enjoys Picking On The Elderly

Ndamukong Suh was the Lions first round pick this year, and comes into the NFL with big expectations resulting from some incredible pre-Draft hype and publicity.

Suh’s most recent goal can only be accomplished, however, if a certain grey bearded quarterback decides to not retire… again.

“The quarterback that I would most like to sack, not to hurt him by any means but it would mean quite a bit to sack a future Hall of Famer in Brett Favre,” Suh said. “Yeah I would definitely like to sack Favre. That would be a nice notch on my belt, the quarterbacks that I have sacked.”

For a second I thought about chastising Suh for being a member of the Detroit Lions that actually felt compelled to trash talk (see:  Jon Kitna).  However, I don’t think the statement is slinging mud as much as it is the honest truth.

I don’t think it would matter who you are, we could all relate to the element of “coolness” to the fact that you could tell your grandchildren (or Brett Favre’s great-great-grandchildren) that you once sacked a hall of fame quarterback.

I secretly cheer for the Lions to improve, mainly because I love to see them beat the Packers and the Bears.  I also secretly am very jealous that the Lions were in the position to snag this incredibly talented young man.

I hope his rookie season is a success… but even I don’t hope he is able to accomplish the goal he states above.

Jay Cutler and Aaron Rodgers?  Have at ‘em, kid.

Adam’s on a roll today, 5 posts and counting. Must be going for 2000 this year. Keep em coming Adam. I hate to say it but I bet Suh does get to Favre at least once. He will be one on one with Sully more than a few times, not a good matchup for Vikes.

  2. […] scheme. Suh made his badassness most defined last week when he went on a radio station saying he essentially had a boner over the potentially of killing/sacking Brett Favre. His quote: “The quarterback that I would most like to sack, not to hurt him by any means but […]
