Favre Works Out With Another Player That Isn’t A Viking

It is an inconvenience for a forty year old quarterback to work out with the team that is paying him $13 million this year and poised to make another Super Bowl run.

It is not an inconvenience for him to work out with his home town high school kids, however.

It also, apparently, is not an inconvenience to work out with an NFL quarterback preparing to start for a team that doesn’t wear purple.

According to an ESPN report, Brett Favre has been working out with the Raiders new starting quarterback, Jason Campbell.

This further suggests that Favre will return for the 2010 season, and it furthers my frustration that he isn’t working on chemistry with his current pass catchers and tutoring an NFL quarterback that actually plays for his team, Joe Webb.

Duh! It’s time to republish the “Handbook for those who love the Vikings but hate Brett Farve.”
