Remember all those pesky free agency rules that we had to learn because of the uncapped year?
Well, you can forget everything you learned now.
As of Sunday, the Vikings and the other teams subject to the “Final Four Plan” are no longer required to abide by the rules they were previously made to follow.
Of course, it doesn’t do these teams much good since there are hardly any unrestricted free agents available at this point. The expiration of the rule, however, is what allowed the Jets to make a run at Terrell Owens.
