Herrera Takes Notice Of Bruschi’s Assessment

I don’t know what Teddy Bruschi said on TV Thursday night, but apparently Vikings starting guard Anthony Herrera heard it.  Guessing from his reponse, I would say that whatever it was that Bruschi said, it didn’t sit well with Herrera.

“Definitely, especially my man Tedy Bruschi,” said Herrera after being asked about the media’s comments about the Vikings line needing to improve.  “It is what it is. He was on TV yesterday saying that maybe it’s a good thing that Brett don’t make it back for the Saints game because of whatever happened last year. If that’s how he feels, that’s how he feels. But we’ll show them. … It’s personal. People out there saying things like that about us. That’s our job to block so we’re going to take it personal.”

Whether it is taking it personal or some other approach that gets the job done, there is no doubt that everyone hopes for improved play out of the offensive line in 2010.

Vikes definately have a huge chip on their shoulders. That Saints game is gonna be physical, I cant wait. The fur is gonna fly.

Something or somebody has to get this OL pissed off. There is not enough attitude in that group.

Coach it looks like that has happened at least with Herrara. Also Hutch and Bmac seem to be ready to go to war. Just a feeling but I think the o-line doesnt want to be embarrassed again this year.

You could be right johnny. If this group gets it together, the Vikes offense could really be something to watch. Time for Favre and holes for Peterson… deadly combination.

    Something I doubt …
