Fantasy Football Time Is Upon Us

If you are like me, then your fantasy draft is coming up soon.

And, if you are like me, you can use all the help you can get when it comes to putting together a winning team.

You might notice that I don’t do too many fantasy football articles on this site.  The first (and most important) reason for that is because it has been so long since I have won a fantasy league that Mrs. Warwas would probably do a better job of telling you who to draft than I.

The second reason is because we have a site all of its own dedicated to that.  Fantasy Football Gab runs continuous coverage of all things fantasy, and I highly recommend visiting very, very, very often.

Oh, and make sure to say hi to the site’s editor, known as “The Fantasy Fluke.”  After all, he recently told me that he loves Vikings Gab and says that it is so great that VG is the second best Gab site… second to Giants Gab, that is.

I assume that you all hate the Giants as much as I do, and won’t stand for that.  Go over there and prove him wrong by leaving him an enormous amount of comments representing VG.  But be nice… unless you are talking to a Giants fan.

I need a new league. Any openings? I must warn you: I won three of the last four championships. I’m pretty sure the pieces are in place for another run but, who knows.

I gotta make a confession here, Adam. I don’t hate the Giants so much. Maybe its because I always want them to beat the Cowbuts, or maybe its because my son-in-law is a Giants fan. Maybe its the runt Manning I pull for, I don’t know, but I just can’t seem to get a good hate up for that team. Sorry.

On the other hand, this gab site takes a back seat to NO one, Giants or anyone else. So I’m with ya there.

And I was thinkin’ Adam, if this guy is the The Fantasy Fluke, I suggest you could be known as “The Viking Villian” or something like that. You up for a nickname?

    • Adam Warwas says:

Well, i guess the ol’ 41-0 still stings too much for me 🙂

The Vikings Villain? What’s wrong with Fred’s simple nickname of “AK”? I prefer, as just a personal style choice, to attach my real name to the things I write… I’ll stick with that 🙂

  3. B. Grant says:

Well, OK, but you might be missing an opportunity here. Besides, what does Freds know, anyway?

And I can’t argue with that game staying in our minds ’til our grave. Raises a question as to which Championship loss hurts more – getting it handed to you 41-0, or slippin’ away in OT?
