Links Of The Week: Training Camp Week Two

The Vikings are in week two of training camp and less than a week away from taking the field against the Rams.  There is plenty of news and opinions to be read around the web, and here are a ton of them:

  • Think it would be fun to tour to a bunch of other NFL stadiums, watch your Vikings play at each of them, and party with a bunch of other hardcore Vikes fans?  Then check out this opportunity.
  • There is the possibility that Percy Harvin has missed so much time because his grandmother’s death caused stress which caused migraines.
  • Saints defensive coordinator Gregg Williams has said some things that might make some purple people angry.
  • A prediction of the Vikings 53 man roster.
  • A breakdown of the Vikes first week of training camp.
  • There is no doubt that there are plenty of things to be optimistic about in 2010 for Vikings fans.
  • The Vikings schedule might lend itself to a game of cat and mouse with the Packers.
  • Asher Allen might just be a new favorite to be a regular contributor in the Vikings starting defense.
  • Looking for proof that Favre’s ankle is doing okay?  Look no further.
  • Husain Abdullah has been having a heck of a camp, and this year he doesn’t plan on letting Ramadan keep him down.
  • Brad Childress takes a different approach with Percy Harvin’s grieving process than he did with Troy Williamson.
  • Kevin Seifert is at Vikings training camp and has multiple posts up about his observations.
  • A breakdown of today’s incredibly hot day of practice.
  • Jay Glazer gives the skinny on where Favre is at and where he might be going.
  • And, compliments of the Sports Pickle, your weekly smile (unless you are one of those ridiculous Brett Favre fans that think absolutely no fun should ever be poked at the guy with the gray).
