WR Harvin Collapses; Taken to Local Hospital

The issues with wide out Percy Harvin continue, as ESPN is reporting that the receiver collapsed during the start of practice today, and had to be taken via ambulance to a hospital.

Vikings coach Brad Childress said that Harvin was speaking as he was taken off the field, and that the cause of the collapse could have been from a migraine headache, which Harvin has been known to have.

He was attended to by EMT’s before being taken to the hospital via ambulance.

We will have more info on Harvin’s condition as it becomes available.

I feel bad for him, It’s gotta be tough going thru that…

Berrian tweeted “Percy’s doin fine everyone” so hopefully thats a good sign. The problem is just that these seem to keep recurring so yeah would definitely be a tough situation. I hope they can figure out a way to help him avoid them. Some people have suggested maybe wearing a black tinted shield on his helmet since bright light can sometimes trigger migraines, but yeah no idea if that would help him a lot or not :P.

Possibility that this could eventually be career ending isn’t that remote. You just don’t keep messing around with issues like this.
