Vikings Working Out WR Javon Walker

With issues at the wide out spot, the Vikings are working out a wide out today, as Adam Schefter says that the team is trying out former Packer WR Javon Walker:

The Minnesota Vikings are trying out WR Javon Walker today. The Vikings are trying him out because Percy Harvin and Sidney Rice are banged up, but Walker hasn’t been a good receiver since 2006. Knee injuries have killed his career. He played in three games last year for the Oakland Raiders and had zero catches. If signed Walker would not stand much of a chance to make the team.

We DEFINITELY DO NOT NEED a receiver that has not contributed any more than Walker has in the past several seasons. If he’s that banged up, LEAVE HIM ALONE, and hone players that have the capabilities that we need that are already on the roster! If you have a pitcher that gives up 5 runs in the first inning, YOU DON’T SEND HIM OUT FOR THE SECOND INNING, YOU YANK HIM, and put in somebody else!!
