Live Chat: Vikes Hosting Seahawks

Week three of the preseason is about as important as preseason gets (see the below post for things to watch for today) so lets enjoy the company of other Vikes fans during the game.

Lets review a few things you should know before we get started:

  1. Children can make for some of the most loyal football fans around, and some may visit this site.  So please, please, please try and keep your comments at a PG-13 rating.  Thanks!
  2. Please be patient on your first few comments.  I have to approve your first comments and then give you approval to chat in real time (without me approving every comment).  If your first couple of comments don’t appear for a few minutes, just be patient.  Once I get back from my beer run, I will approve you.
  3. It almost never fails that my computer goes haywire at least once every time I do a live chat.  If I disappear for an unusual length of time then I am probably rebooting and will be back ASAP.  This may take a while, but I will be back to approve your comments and keep things moving.  My apologies if this does occur.
  4. Cover-It-Live is a great program that allows us to chat, but it does have limitations.  I can only approve 25 users to live chat in real time.  After that, I have to approve comments on an individual basis.  So please use only one username in order to save room for others that would like to chat in real time.
  5. We’ll get started pretty close to kickoff time.

Too bad I couldn’t play with you all in the chat last night–we were at a friend’s house watching the game, and it’s probably rude to use their computer to chat.

Count me in the “Dump TJ, make Sage 2nd and get Webb in as Much as Possible” camp. We have got to protect our Ol’ man–hate seeing Brett getting pounded around so much.

I was impressed with some new guys–I agree that a few folks lost their roster spot last night. Go Vikes!

I need to know the secret handshake. I posted several times, but they didn’t show up.

They were really, really good posts too.

You must have posted when Adam was away or something. When you first sign in he has to approve your posts and approve you before you can comment freely.

    • Adam Warwas says:

Fozz, I am sorry. I think it was mainly towards the end of the chat is when you stopped in right? That would correlate with when my computer started to wig out on me and I couldn’t approve you. Very sorry about that.

    Hey Gabbers!
The game last nite was OK, it had some good, bad and ugly moments.
We moved the ball pretty well, but the turnovers sucked. Berrian has to hold on to that ball. Same for Favre. Defense was great, gave up only 6 points.
In a way it reminded me of last years NFCCG.
Just another 11 days from the rematch. Oh yeah!
Thats right, 11 Joe Kapp days!

Thanks for the replay. We didn’t have very good radio reception at the hunting shack last night. Looks like the offensive line still needs to pick up their game some. Any more word on Cook’s injury??
