Filling Out The Practice Squad

There has been a few changes to the practice squad since the last time I updated you.

After the Broncos, um, well, “stole” offensive tackle Chris Clark from the Vikings (eye roll), the Vikings retaliated by snagging their former lineman Seth Olsen.  Olsen was a fourth round pick in 2009 and played in three games last season for the Broncos.

Here is what the practice squad currently looks like:

–          Safety Colt Anderson

–          Receiver Freddie Brown

–          Fullback Ryan D’Imperio

–          Defensive Tackle Tremaine Johnson

–          Guard Seth Olsen

–          Receiver Logan Payne

–          Cornerback Marcus Sherels

–          Tackle Thomas Welch

I am extremely happy to see D’Imperio and Payne on there. D’Imperio is a hard worker, a locker room favorite, and has the athletic potential to be a good fullback. The swing passes he caught in the preseason were impressive, as were the YAC he picked up. If we’re lucky maybe we can let Tahi go at the end of the season and get a more versatile fullback in there. And Payne… I just like him.

Here’s hoping Olsen can prove that he’s worth something. The Vikings are pretty good at taking players with a chip on their shoulder and making them prove that they’re NFL caliber.

Yeah Zag, I like D’Imperio too.
Who the hell is Thomas Welch?
Look for Sherels to be activated, cant walk into that game with 3 corners. Or can we? The inner workings of Chillys mind continues to be an enigma.

2 days Gabbers, thats right, in just 2 days we’ll be whoooopin’ some Saints ass. Yeah I said it!
In just 2 Darren Bennett days!
Geez, its hard to sound tough using an old punters name.

Lol I dont think I’ve ever seen so many people pick against an incumbent to win their division when said incumbent is returning nearly all its starters… but hey, I dont mind everyone doubting them :P. Just gives them extra motivation…

Everyone just has a Packers boner. They do every year. The Packers just have a history, so all the retarded talking heads assume they’ll be good. Same goes for the Cowboys and the Patriots.

I’m so sick about hearing about the Packers and Cowboys…
