Links Of The Week: Dolphins

I hadn’t really realized it, but I have been neglecting the whole “Links of the Week” thing for quite some time now.  So, I’ll get this restarted by pointing you towards our friends around the web and what they have to say about the Saints game, the upcoming Fins game, and other various Vikings-related topics.

  • As always, the Vikings Ship has done a great job with some music and video to help set the mood for Sunday’s game.
  • The Vikings weren’t the only high profile NFC team to get off to a slow start.
  • Lemke’s Lot predicts a big margin in this weekend’s game.
  • Greg Lewis is seeing more action the football field, but that isn’t slowing him down from being charitable off of it.
  • You can see extensive previews of the upcoming matchup both here and also here.
  • It would be premature to write off Brett Favre already, as slow starts have been the norm for him over the last couple years.  He seems confident, however, that the team will improve.
  • The fans learned some things about this team during their loss to the Saints.
  • It will be interesting to see if the Fins are able to put pressure on Favre but still stay solid in the secondary.
  • In news from the “creative writing” corner… Purple Jesus Diaries has a new home and a new look.
  • Did Brad Childress make four major mistakes against the Saints?  I’m not sure… because I lost count.
  • Fins head coach Tony Sparano is impressed by Benny Sapp, and likes his swagger.  Meanwhile, Ricky Williams misses Camarillo and says “He’s Money.”
  • Is Adrian Peterson a yet-to-be-solved puzzle for the Vikings coaching staff?
  • Is too early to start talking about Donovan McNabb being a Viking?  Again.
  • Chris Cook really laments having to miss the season opener, which would have been his first professional game that actually counted.
  • Greg Camarillo sure seems to be the media’s pick for “savior” of the Vikings passing game.
  • You had to know I wouldn’t make it all the way through this feature without linking to somebody’s opinion of Vincent Jackson to the Vikings.
  • Toby Gerhart thinks he’s finally ready to be a consistent player as the game has “slowed down” for him now.
  • Plain and simple:  John Sullivan has to get better.  His season started off with an extra hurdle to jump, however.
  • Like many fans, Bernard Berrian is frustrated with his production.
