INACTIVES: Secondary Gets Help

The Vikings secondary will get a big boost as they prepare to face Megatron and the rest of this newly improved Lions offense.  Both Cedric Griffin and Chris Cook are active for today’s game.

Safety Tyrell Johnson, linebacker Erin Henderson, Joe Webb (third quarterback), running back Albert Young, center Jon Cooper, defensive tackle Fred Evans, defensive end Jayme Mitchell, and defensive end Everson Griffen.

I find it interesting how far Tyrell Johnson has fallen on the depth chart, that the Vikes would deactivate Erin Henderson after a strong showing this year, that Gerhart has clearly beat out Albert Young, Chris DeGeare is finally active, and Jimmy Kennedy will finally be on the field.

Quarterback Matt Stafford, wide receiver Nate Burleson (ankle), running back Kevin Smith, linebackers Zack Follett (concussion) and Landon Johnson (neck), guard Manny Ramirez, tackle Jason Fox, and defensive end Willie Young.
