FAVRE: “I Need You Guys To Carry Me Tonight”

Well, I would say this story was odd, but at this point there isn’t much about Vikings football that can surprise me anymore.

According to Michelle Tafoya, and via PFT, Ryan Longwell says that Brett Favre broke down and cried in an emotional address to his teammates on Monday.

“Brett Favre actually broke down in tears and was very emotional, saying, ‘I’m sorry to have been a distraction,'” Tafoya said she was told by Longwell.

“I need you guys to carry me tonight,” Favre told the Vikings, as related by Longwell to Tafoya. “I’m ready to go out there and give it my best, but I don’t know what’s going to happen.”

Meanwhile, Chris Mortenson says that former Jets employee (and Gridiron Gab writer) Jenn Sterger has not fully decided whether or not she’ll cooperate with the NFL in their investigation of the situation.

“If she doesn’t cooperate,” Mortensen reported, “it’s very unlikely that Favre would be disciplined.”

    Hey Banjo –

Pop a couple Motrin, get your estrogen in check, stop crying and get ready for the game.

This guy is a damn mess.

Amazing, those three knuckle heads flew to Catfish Mississippi to bring this back? Get the blue mats, stack them 6 high and bring on Jumpin’ Joe!
