The Vikings defense has been pretty dominant so far this year, and much of the credit could go to defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier. Many fans think Frazier should be the head coach of the Vikings.
Instead, Frazier could be head coach of a different local team, according to this report.
Frazier and the Gophers reportedly have mutual interest in working out a deal in which he would fill the void left by the firing of former head coach Tim Brewster on Sunday.
It is possible that another loss due to an inadequate performance from the Vikings offense today could be the tipping point in Frazier being willing to abandon his post mid-season.
this would be a huge hire for the maroon and gold. brewster needs to die a slow painful death.
If I were Frazier, I would get the hell out of Minnesota, at least until Childress is gone. The man will be a great head coach -he should be one at the NFL level, not just college- and I wish him the best.
I dont care about a Gopher, stay a Viking Frazier. Becoming a Gopher head coach is a bad move.
