Vikes Have Another Golden Opportunity

Last week the Vikings took advantage of an opportunity to be the only winning team in the NFC North by beating the Cowboys.

Tonight, they have the same opportunity.

The Lions, who really seem like a non-threat at this point anyways, are on a bye week.

Also, the Bears lost a sloppy game (sloppy being a trend for both teams involved) to the Redskins, after Jay Cutler decided to turn the ball over five times.

That means that whoever wins tonight, the Vikings or the Packers, will be the only NFC North team to win this week.  For the Vikings, in a close division, beating the Pack tonight and maintaining a 2-0 division record could be huge down the road.

The NFC is amazing this year. With NO and Philly losing today, the Vikes continue to have gifts handed to them.
They are positioned well for the last 11 games of the year….let’s hope they take adavantage of the parity so far.

Fragile Freds is kicking Viking John’s okole in FFL
why do these things allowed to happen?

    • B. Grant says:

The Browns beat the Saints today, Ole, so, you see, wins such as Freds are going to happen, real or FF.

    • Fragile Freds says:

      Ole –

Freds has lost much bigger leads than this, don’t worry your old pal Fragile will cough up a lung here shortly!

  3. B. Grant says:

Yeah, Adam, its time for us to take control of this division. It will be a very uphill climb without this win.

  4. Lost Viking says:

Tony Sparano is the worst coach in the NFL and its not that close.

    Real idiot

  5. Another Blonde Viking says:

I just want the Vikes to go in there and shut the Cheeseheads up! A win would be huge! Protect Brett! No turnovers for the Purple and the D needs to score. Time to start cooking and getting the munchies ready! Go Vikes–WIN!!

  6. B. Grant says:

Protecting the passer is not in the playbook. Chili says we pay our QB to take hits.

  8. Ole says:

Cutler – worstest starting QB in the NFL

  9. Jawsers says:

Cutler wanted to be a part of history, that why his last throw was to DeAngelo.
