Peterson Finishes Sixth In Fan Voting

The process of fans voting for who they think should make the Pro Bowl roster is a dubious one at best.  Luckily the fan voting only factors into the final roster by about one-third.

Voting closed on Monday night and Adrian Peterson finished with the fifth most votes of all players.  He was behind only Tom Brady, Michael Vick, Peyton Manning, Phillip Rivers, and Drew Brees… all quarterbacks.

There is little doubt that when all is said and done Peterson will be elected to his annual spot on the NFC’s Pro Bowl roster.  Whether or not he’ll play is another question.

Peterson missed Wednesday’s practice because of a bruised thigh that kept him out of last week’s game against the Bears.
