In a Vikings season where the phrase “There is always next year” has never been more welcomed, I just want to thank you all for sticking with us through one heck of a wild season of football.
This has been our best year here in Vikings Gab in every aspect that can be measured. Our favorite regulars continue to come back to hear what this hack blogger has to say, our team of writers continues to grow strong, and new folks have been stopping by every day with a few deciding to come back for more on a daily basis.
Regardless of how often you visit VG, how often you converse in the comments section, or how often you agree with the opinions in these parts, I want to wish every single one of you the happiest of new years!
Now, be safe tonight, and remember… there is always next year.
(Unless there is a lockout or strike… then there isn’t always a next year… but let’s not ruin the mood. Go get a fizzy drink, a colorful and pointy hat, and a noise-maker.)

Just saw this, Joe Webb has been fined $5,000 for the facemask call from tuesday night.
Yeah really. Thats not all, Asante Samuel was fined zero dollars for his helmet to helmet hit on Sid Rice.
Wow.
Wow that’s unbelievable CC but not surprising with Goodell and company. How about some common sense with all these fines.
