Stadium Options Increase, As Does Zygi’s Offer

Again, sorry for the delay in posting on the topic.  Instead of re-hashing what most of you have already probably read, I’ll make a quick note and then provide links to some stories about stadium options.

One tidbit I found interesting comes from Lee Hamilton of SanDiego.com.  We previously pointed out that the Vikings made a somewhat public offer a while back in which they offered to pay one-third (or $233 million) of an outdoor stadium projected to cost about $700 million.

Hamilton, however, suggests that Wilf is willing to go as high as $400 million towards an outdoor stadium in Minnesota, with any roof being paid for by someone else if they so choose.

If true, this is a significant development in the Vikings increasingly urgent efforts to get a deal done in Minnesota.
