Vikings Concern About Re-Signing Rice Growing More and More

Pro Football Weekly says that the Vikings are getting worried that Sidney Rice is going to get a deal to move elsewhere once free agency starts.

The Vikings quietly are growing concerned about their ability to retain WR Sidney Rice, who almost certainly will be a free agent when the lockout is lifted. Fourth-year free agents such as Rice now appear to be unrestricted free agents, and Rice is going to want to cash in. Several receiver-needy teams appear to be licking their chops at the idea of adding a 24-year-old playmaker who could help remake an offense.

He has been as good as gone because they didn’t use the F~Tag on him ~ He was mad last season when Chilly wouldn’t get him a new contract and missed 10 because he waited to get his hip fixed when he had all offseason to get it done ~ I dont believe the Vikings want to tie up big money in Rice with his injury history ~ I cant blame them either ~

Chilly will be one poor man if he is counting on 10% of what I make ~ LOL
