Posted in Vikings have agreed on terms with Saints free agent DT Remi Ayodele according to The Times-Picayune.
Deal is for 3 years, $9 million according to Judd Zulgad.
Remi Ayodele is 28 years old and is 6’2, 318 lbs. Pro football focus had him ranked as the 50th best DT last season but 25th vs. The run.
He looks as if he’s the replacement for Pat Williams on early downs.
I like this signing. Too bad we lose fat Pat though, that guy was always good for some laughs. He’s so hood, it’s impossible not to like him.
Still hoping that Letroy Guion pushes for playing time. I think he’ll continue to impress coaches and have a great camp this year.
I guess the beauty of James Jones is that it’s a name I can actually spell/pronounce.
Just hope he doesn’t mix up a big batch of kool-aid for the team . . .

Vikings agreed to terms with DT Remi Ayodele, formerly of the Saints, on a three-year, $9 million contract.
The Saints started Ayodele at nose tackle next to Sedrick Ellis, but he was one of the worst players on their defense. For the Vikings’ sake, we hope this isn’t their answer to potentially losing both Pat Williams and Jimmy Kennedy. Ayodele, 28, would be a little used early-down substitute on a good defense.
