Tom Pelissero posted on twitter that Vikings signed UDFA RB Alexander Robinson from Iowa State. Robinson is 5’9, 187 lbs. and has experience returning kickoffs. Vikings lost out on RB Derrick Locke because of a failed physical and looks like they found his replacement. Vikings now up to 15 UDFA heading into training camp.

McNabb Deal Official
Well it’s official, the Vikings get their veteran QB. Adam Schefter of ESPN reported that the Redskins have traded Donovan McNabb to the Vikings and deal will be announced on Thursday. The Redskins receive a 2012 a 6 round pick and a conditional 6 round pick in 2013.

Vikings Re-Sign Longwell
According to Adam Schefter, the Vikings have re-signed Kicker Ryan Longwell to a multi-year deal. The deal is 4 years, 12 million with 3.5 guaranteed. Good to see Longwell back in purple.
