@MNsportszone has tweeted the Valdosta State website states UDFA linebacker Larry Dean has signed with the Vikings.  Dean led the GSC in tackles in 2010 with 122, and was selected as the Darktronics National Defensive Player Of The Year and GSC Defensive Player Of The Year.

Judd Zulgad of the Star Tribune reports the Vikings have told WR Freddie Brown he will be released. Brown, a 7th round pick in 2009 by the Cincinnati Bengals, has been a member of the Vikings practice squad ever since coming to Minnesota.
