Looks like the Motor City Kitties will be moving to 3-0. We will have no chance against Detroit. AP will not be able to run between the tackles at all, Our line vs Fairly Suh, not a good matchup for Minnesota. That will put all the pressure on McNabb. Detroit will bring pressure while leaving 7 in the box most of the game, this game should determine weather McNabb can be a solid quarterback for the rest of the year or have a repeat of last season.

Our defense matches up fairly well against Detroit’s offense, our Linebackers and DL will contain the run game, and Nate Burleson will not be a threat Antoine or Ced will be able to cover them, but Calvin Johnson will be a problem, a BIG problem. We will contain their entire offense other than Calvin Johnson who I see running over our smaller CB’s, and the only CB who matches up against him physically is Chris Cook who has struggled all season.

    Prediction: Det 27 Min 13.

  2. Lost Viking says:

While you’re giving Lion two TDs the Las Vegas bookies have them 3 1/2 point favorite.

Maybe they’re seeing a Minnesota team that just hasn’t put it together for full 60 minutes. The bookies probably aren’t concerned with Jahvid Best, Nick Fairley and Keiland Williams. If you give Matt Stafford time to throw he’ll hit is receivers outside. (Same goes for McNabb although his passes only go six yards).

Agreed that Suh against Cooper is a mismatch but Herrera should throw him a couple of shots

  3. CalVkg says:

if we’re gonna win a division game this year, it’ll prolly be at home against the lions or bears

(man, i just stopped after reading that sentence and thought how much we’ve dropped. nothing else needs to be said)

    • B. Grant says:

Let’s not write off all our games as losses just yet, guys and gals. My vote is to go ahead and play the games. Mark my words (and make me eat crow if I’m wrong), this Viking team will go at least 3-3 in the division. Those teams are good, but beatable.

  4. Pinwheel26 says:

The Lions think it’s the fifties! We have to HURT carwreck Stafford, blitz often, don’t let him sit back there and hit Megatron, and get the ball to our playmakers.
