According to Hennepin County jail records, Marcellous Tyrell Johnson was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated at 3:17 AM Tuesday morning and released at 5:28 AM.
Johnson has been disappointing since Vikings drafted him in 2008 and adding this to his resume does not help him at all.
The team has stated they know about the incident and are still gathering information. No further comments from them.

What is fourth degree DWI? since when is it stated like that? LOL
Maybe this will put a end to the flip flopping of the SS ~ Pick and starter and let him play ~ JMHO Sanford has been far better even if he isn’t the long term answer ~
I think Johnson was drunk when he dropped the game saving interception with 1:56 left in the game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tyrell was probably drinking and bemoning the fact that he cost us the game with his dropped interception. The young man needs to understand that the drinking will not help him improve his play. He had been playing a little better this season, at least I thought so. To bad, this could seal his fate. Sanford and Abdullah have been the better safeties.
