Vikings RB Peterson on Sunday at Chiefs: “I’ll be ready to roll”

Vikings coach Leslie Frazier said running back Adrian Peterson went through an entire practice Thursday without any limitations from his sore calf according to Judd Zulgad of 1500ESPN.

Peterson missed Wednesday’s session but proclaimed himself to be “ready to roll” on Sunday.

“I’m feeling good,” he said in the locker room today according to Mark Craig of the Minneapolis Star Tribune. “Just a little rest [on Wednesday]. I had a calf contusion. It’s sore, but it’s not really bothering me. It won’t hinder me from playing. It won’t stop me from playing.”

“I got high tolerance for pain,” Peterson said. “With a contusion, it’s all about trying to flush it out and keep the muscle loose. Pain is only temporary. … I’ll be ready to roll on Sunday.”

Shouldn’t Judd talk to Adrian’s dad to find out how Adrian’s feeling? At least that’s how that Pioneer Press hack found out about Adrian’s “fury” over not getting the ball enough last week. If there is any talk of someone getting fired, it should be about that guy.

Ooooo, Rich Eisen’s podcast. Guess I missed that one.

Did we expect Adrian to throw his old man under the bus? “Yes Rich, I was frustrated just like everyone else who wants to help this team win.”

Sorry Tomb, not convinced it was good journalism, but then I’m just an old…

Love this guy! A Viking’s game will never be boring as long as plays. Here’s to doing better on third down so we get to see him more in the second half!

I would hate to think how bad our offense would be without AP.
