Kramer to Rashad to beat the Browns. And go to the playoffs. Hail mary baby!!!

  2. James frazer says:

My favorite moment was my first game ever!! September 27th 2009, also it was my birthday!! The Vikings were playing the 49ers and I think a lot of people remembered how that turned out! That whole last drive I think I bit all of my nails off. Then there was the last play favre to Lewis the dome got SO loud!! I was on row eleven on the 20 yard line closest to the last play behind the Vikings. That was my all time favorite game moment and bestbday ever!

    • WestCoastViking says:

My favorite viking moment is when Randy Moss scored a touchdown at Lambeau Field then proceeded to fake moon all the cheeseheads! CLASSIC!

  3. Erik Dosedel says:

So many favorite moments. But I think I’ll have to go with 2 years ago Adrian Peterson touchdown run against the bears. The stiff-arm that he delivered on that last browns defender was just un-real! He knocked him clear out of bounds!

  4. Taylor says:

My favorite moment was when my dad took me to the vikings bears game last year at tcf bank stadium. It was cold, snowing, and I loved the atmosphere. It may not have been the best game but it will be one I remember forever.

My favorite moment was Favre’s TD pass to Greg Lewis with 2 seconds left to win the game!

  7. Andrew says:

Randy Moss “mooning” the Packer fans @ Lambeau. Classic Randy – straight cash homey!

  8. SanDiegoViking says:

Favorite play… Mo Williams to Randy moss on the hook and latter just before halftime.

  9. SanDiegoViking says:

And by that I mean Randy Moss tossing the Hook and LaDDer to Mo Williams…my bad, got excited and didn’t look over what I wrote!

  10. Austin Streamland says:

It was a hard choice but i think i gotta go with Adrian Peterson’s touchdown run against the browns when he basically punched two defenders out the way and ran through the rest, then told all the browns fans “they could of drafted me! but they pass me by!”

  11. Phil says:

My favorite moment in Vikings history was also when Greg Lewis made that amazing catch in the back of the enzone, that play really caught people’s attention and made the Vikings an elite team instead of a solid team

  12. Fisher says:

Not since the San Diego game in Peterson’s rookie year where he set the single game rushing record have I been so excited for the future of the team as I was when Ponder came out and bombed down field to Jenkins, had the TD taken away, but then proceeded to punch it right back in there for the TD on the roll out. That’s my favorite Vikings moment.

  13. Jason says:

Randy Moss no look over-the-shoulder to Moe Williams for a TD!!!

  14. justin says:

I would def have to agree that was my favorite play of all time with Moss looking at the screen and knowing he was about to get sacked and tossed it back MO for a td at the end of the half. Unreal is all I can say. I remember Brad Johnson throwing a pass to himself.

  15. CSlinde says:

I would have to say the time when a stadium solution was passed. Umm wait…
Realistically, Moss’ super performance in ’98 at Lambeau. Breaking the Pack’s home win streak…SKOL!

  16. Mulletmilitia says:

My favorite moment was when I went with my family to Lambeau field all the way from L.A. in 09 to watch Favre beat the Packers in their own house. That game was amazing and I will forever remember that Percy Harvin catch when 3 Packers ran into each other leaving Percy alone to walk into the endzone. Leaving back to L.A we got to be on the same plane back as Erin Henderson and Bernard Berrian. Erin took the time out of his busy schedule to take a group picture with us but Berrian didn’t care. Good riddance to him

  17. PurplePridegirl says:

Mine was my 1st game with my fiancé against the Dallas Cowboys this preseason. I’m a new fan because of him and I love my Vikings forever more!

  18. Skol12 says:

My favorite vikings moment came on Lambeau field in 2004. The vikings marched into the frozen tundra behind Mike Tice to face the packers for the first time ever in the playoffs. The vikings came in as major underdogs with the packers winning 4 of the last 5, nobody gave the vikings a chance. Daunte Culpepper and randall Moss had something to say about that, giving the vikings a 17-0 lead 9 minutes into the game. The final score was 31-17, giving the vikings the win in the only playoff game in this rivalry.
The vikings win wasn’t the only memorable event from this game, this was also where Mr. Moss infamously mooned the fans at lambeau field.

  19. Dr. K says:

I am a lifetime Vikings fan and passed my love of the Vikings on to my son. He and I are diehard fans and two years ago as a graduation gift to him we flew to Minnesota from California to watch the Vikings-Bengals game. I had never been to a Vikings home game and was something he and I talked and dreamed of doing. That was Favre’s first season with the Vikings and truly a special season. Just being there with my son and watching the Vikings pound the Bengals was truly a wonderful experience. That’s my #1 Vikings moment.

  20. Jay says:

The Moss moon was unforgettable; however, I’ll never forget Anthony Carter’s 200-plus receiving yards against the mighty 49ers in the 1987 NFC Divisional Playoff game.

  21. Matt Hoffmann says:

Brett Favre putting it to the packers. 30-27, and the newspaper the next day read: “Packer Smacker”, with the picture underneath of Brett Favre and Toby Gerheart chest bumping. Go Vikings!

  22. wtfvikesfan says:

Tommy Kramer to Rashad, hail marry touchdown!!!

  23. Dan says:

For non-game moments I’ll go with hearing Adrian Peterson’s name called with pick #7 in the ’07 draft. I don’t think I’ve ever been that excited about one of our draft picks before. For the games I’ll throw out the ’97 come from behind playoff win over the Giants. After years of first round playoff exits for Denny Green and a 1-5 end to the regular season, the Vikes backed into the playoffs, played a terrible first three plus quarters, and then Randall Cunningham leads a 10 point rally in the final 90 seconds to get victory on the road.

  24. CalVkg says:

    any raiders-vikings game without stabbing

  25. Casey Houser says:

Brett Favre to Greg Lewis with 0 seconds left on the clock to win the game!

  26. Matt says:

Randy Moss catching the touchdown pass at Lambeau Field, then proceeding to moon the Packers fans! Priceless…

  27. Dan says:

Adrian Peterson breaking the single game rushing record. He is unstoppable! Go Vikes!

  28. Lael says:

Watching Brett Favre beat the Green Bay Packers in his first against the pack! Skol Vikings!

  29. Vikesfan4Life says:

Adrian Peterson trucking Rudy Gay of the Steelers! Laid him flat on his back in the open field!

  30. Brett Favre to Greg Lewis in the end zone against the 49ers for the win!

    Skol Vikings!

  31. Barbara Johnson says:

Jim Marshall’s fumble recovery, only to see him run sixty some yards in the wrong direction!

  32. Brian says:

    The day BF left town!

  33. casey says:

Moss over the shoulder to moe

  34. Gary says:

    I will be golfing….

  35. SouthernFan says:

Favre making the last second pass to Lewis to beat the 49ers in his second game as a Viking! That was amazing, it’s my favorite moment because I was watching with my cousin and he swore there was no way they’d win, but Favre and the Vikes proved my cousin wrong (he’s a Lions fan).

  36. PURPLEnotGREEN says:

When the Vikes beat the Packers in the playoffs and Moss mooned the crowd, I just erupted with joy. I can’t even put to words how awesome it was to watch the Vikings end the Packers’ season… in Green Bay. There are so few moments that awesome in this game, and I’ll never forget that one in particular.

  37. Andy says:

It hasn’t happened yet, but it will within the next five years. THE VIKINGS WINNING THE SUPERBOWL!!! That’s a moment in Vikings history, right there!

  38. Matt Hoffmann says:

Has a winner been chosen/claimed there prize yet?! Want to go to the game sooooo bad!

  39. CJ says:

A winner has been chosen, and he has already been notified!
